Multiply Life is on a mission to help engage and equip the Church to promote and defend the sacredness of human life. As an initiative of Human Coalition, Multiply Life reaches out to church leaders and their congregants, encouraging them to get involved in our mission to end abortion in America in our lifetime. Relying on the Word of God as their guide, our personnel travel the country sharing the truth about abortion and exhorting churches to stand up for the unborn.

Here are a few of the things we’ve accomplished in the first few months since launching Multiply Life:

Brian Fisher, Co-Founder and President of Human Coalition

Brian Fisher, Co-Founder and President of Human Coalition

As Co-founder and President of Human Coalition, Brian recently spoke at benefit dinners for some of the nation’s largest life-affirming pregnancy centers, including the Celebrate Life Benefit Dinner in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Brian has also shared the message of LIFE at several Christian business forums, including Shepherds 360° National Church Leaders Conference in Cary, North Carolina, and Involved for Life’s POWER UP Prayer Breakfast at Prestonwood Country Club in Dallas, Texas.

“Getting in front of business and church leaders is crucial to expanding our reach and spreading the word about how everyday Christians can get involved in the effort to rescue babies and families from abortion.”

Dave Sterrett, Director of Church Outreach

Dave Sterrett, Director of Church Outreach

Dave Sterrett leverages his background in biblical apologetics and college outreach to educate younger generations about the importance of standing up for LIFE. Dave had the opportunity to discuss the sacredness of life with more than 250 students at Liberty University. “I explained that our generation can make a difference by changing one heart at a time.”

Dave also visited Yale University and represented Human Coalition as part of a panel discussion about life ethics. “The students were really impressed by how HC is using technology to reach abortion-determined women. Before the end of our sessions, the students joined me in downloading the HC Prayer App so they could engage in the day-to-day fight to save lives.”

Dave has traveled the East Coast speaking at various business and college forums, and he’s shared the stage with great apologetic minds such as Josh McDowell and David Limbaugh.

Sean Martin, Senior Director of Multiply Life

Sean Martin, Senior Director of Multiply Life

Having served as a pastor for 12 years, Rev. Sean Martin brings his church leadership experience and his gift of compassionate counsel to the Multiply Life team. Most recently, he visited Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, home to one of HC’s life-affirming pregnancy centers, where he spoke to church leaders about HC’s focused strategy for their city.

“When I announced that the Pregnancy Resource Center of the South Hills has become a part of Human Coalition and I invited them to be a part of our strategy, the enthusiasm among the pastors was palpable. There’s a real desire among the Pittsburgh pastors to end abortion once and for all.”

Dean Nelson, National Outreach Director

Dean Nelson, National Outreach Director

Working out of the Washington D.C. area, Dean Nelson takes his deep understanding of abortion as it relates to the African-American community to religious and institutional forums around the nation. Dean spoke to 30 students at Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, and shared how abortion advocates and elected officials have created a multibillion-dollar under-regulated industry that does not promote women’s health but victimizes women for financial gain.

In Hartford, Connecticut, Nelson spoke as part of a panel discussing the Value of Black Life. “With recent incidents of homicide in urban communities, we should take a broader look at the value of life in the African-American community, including high rates of abortion.”

In September, Nelson spoke during the Pastors For Family Values Summit in Richmond, Virginia, and in October he moderated a statewide town hall meeting and biblical rights forum in Little Rock, Arkansas, which addressed issues impacting urban communities. Each event ended with hundreds downloading the Human Coalition Prayer App and pledging to pray for women facing unplanned pregnancies.
