In the six years since Human Coalition became a fast-growing, full-time organization my responsibilities have changed dramatically. On February 1, 2012, Jeff Bradford, Tim Gerwing, and I walked out of our for-profit careers and started working full time to rescue children and families from abortion. We started with laptops on tray tables in my living room, spending most of our days testing how to reach more at-risk women through technology and innovation.

These days, my technology work has taken a backseat to vision casting, speaking, training, problem-solving, and spurring on the Church to greater involvement to end abortion in America. Far smarter team members than I now handle the technology outreach (which is part of the reason why we’re saving so many more babies), and our staff of more than 110 people continues to specialize as we grow. It’s a phenomenally exciting place to work.

However, one of the things I still do after all of these years is monitor the Human Coalition blog and engage with you. I take a few minutes each day to read through the comments and respond to people. I love the interaction – whether or not someone agrees with me.

Recently, the number of comments regarding Planned Parenthood has been increasing. With the continued release of undercover videos exposing Planned Parenthood’s diabolical activities and their vitriolic stance on anything pro-life, I understand why people want to talk about them.

Most of the comments support Human Coalition and condemn Planned Parenthood. Some of you passionately defend Planned Parenthood and their practices, and you’re quick to condemn our work. And yet others take a fascinating stance that I want to address here on the blog.

Some of you have written that you agree that Planned Parenthood’s abortion practices are wrong, but you believe the organization still needs to be supported because it provides other valuable services to women. You’d prefer that they stop providing abortions, but you maintain that their presence in low-income communities is essential to providing underserved women access to basic health care.

I’m deeply disturbed by this viewpoint. There are many gray areas in life – but this is not one of them. If you find yourself wanting Planned Parenthood to stop providing abortions but still maintain a presence in our cities, then you misunderstand and underestimate the evil nature of Planned Parenthood. You are essentially winking at the worst mass murderer in American history.

Here’s why every pro-life person must demand that Planned Parenthood be defunded and run out of business as fast as humanly possible:

Last year Planned Parenthood killed 331,000 preborn children, the total is over 8 million Click To Tweet
  1. They kill hundreds of thousands of innocent people a year.

Last year, it’s reported that Planned Parenthood killed 331,000 preborn children, bringing the total number of babies killed to over 8 million since it started performing abortions.

To put it another way, America’s abortion empire has killed 1 million more humans than the Jewish Holocaust.

What if Planned Parenthood had killed 8 million 5-year-olds? Let’s say they routinely killed kindergartners to the tune of 300,000 a year. If they also provided other medical services, yet vowed to stop killing 5- and 6-year-old kids, would we support that idea? Would we want their clinics to continue operating in our cities?

I seriously hope not. We would demand that an organization or political movement that killed millions of innocent people be completely dismantled and its leaders immediately arrested and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

So what’s the difference between kindergartners and preborn children?

Ah, there’s the rub. The correct answer is nothing – they are all priceless human beings who have every right to live. But Americans who lamely assert that Planned Parenthood does enough good to outweigh the bad are actually just agreeing with our horribly discriminatory culture that says preborn children are worth less than the rest of us.

Third-party forensics has verified that the videos proving that PP sells baby parts are authentic Click To Tweet
  1. Planned Parenthood has participated in the black market industry of selling the body parts of babies.

In 2015, The Center for Medical Progress released a series of videos proving that Planned Parenthood was deeply involved in the sale of babies’ body parts. I’m stunned by how many times I’ve talked with people who now believe these videos were proven to be falsified. In fact, the opposite is true – a third-party forensics company verified that the videos are authentic and show no evidence of tampering or manipulation. The mainstream media has tried to spin this story so many times, leaving much of the public confused.

So Planned Parenthood not only kills people, but they sold – and are possibly still selling – their body parts to various parties. Because of this activity, they are currently undergoing numerous investigations.

Our friends at Live Action have been releasing new videos that show other major breaches of ethics, regulations, and deceptions by Planned Parenthood. This includes their promotion of services that they don’t actually provide – most specifically, mammograms and prenatal care.

@LiveAction proves that it is a myth that abortion is only 3% of Planned Parenthood’s business Click To Tweet
  1. Abortion is its primary business – the rest is just marketing fluff. And their work is driven by a genocidal racist motivation.

Margaret Sanger, a deranged and racist eugenicist, started Planned Parenthood. And it continues to carry out her racist agenda, specifically targeting minorities for abortion. Maafa 21 created one of the most complete and articulate documentaries about Planned Parenthood’s racist roots, and you can watch it for free here.

And if you’ve allowed the media to convince you that abortion is only 3% of Planned Parenthood’s business, check out Live Action’s great explanation of that rather creative accounting.

If you need further evidence that Planned Parenthood’s primary goal is abortion, look no further than their response to President Trump’s offer to continue providing them with hundreds of millions of dollars if they will just stop aborting our children.

There are 13 health women's care centers that don’t provide abortions for every Planned Parenthood clinic Click To Tweet
  1. There is no moral, social, cultural, or health reason for Planned Parenthood to exist.

Women’s health care centers that don’t provide abortions outnumber Planned Parenthood clinics 13 to 1. And they provide similar services to eight times as many clients as Planned Parenthood does.

More than 60 million Americans have been killed by abortion in the last 45 years. It is the leading cause of death in America, and Planned Parenthood is the leading killer and kingpin of the abortion industry. They are masterful marketers and an extraordinarily powerful lobbying organization. (Watch the D.C. efforts to defund them very carefully.) They provide most of the research about abortion in America, and they have carefully crafted a message of women’s health care that belies its true nature – to promote and advance abortion.

If you are one of the people who think Planned Parenthood’s other services somehow justify their existence, then you have bought their lies, and you demean and belittle the memories of the 8 million children they’ve killed, along with the women whose lives they’ve destroyed.

You don’t placate and play with evil. You conquer it.

One last thing: some people have accused me, and others in the pro-life movement, of being un-Christian because I won’t take a moderate position on Planned Parenthood. I’m baffled by this accusation.

The Bible says God hates child sacrifice. He detests the killing of innocent human life. In Jeremiah 7:31 (ESV) He says, “They have built the high places of Topheth, which is in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, which I did not command, nor did it come into my mind.”

Killing children is unthinkable to God. He does not wink at it, He does not placate it, He does not speak gracefully about it. He demands that the practice be stopped.

Should we pray for Planned Parenthood leadership and entire staff? Absolutely. Should our work and dialogue be nonviolent, candid, and compassionate? Without a doubt.

Yet while we do those things, we must also recognize the face of evil and do everything in our power to dismantle its efforts. We must not be silent. We must not pacify. And we must not pretend that the mass murder of millions of children somehow justifies the presence of an unnecessary and deceitful women’s health organization.
