Erin Forsythe

Vice President of Development

Erin Forsythe serves as the Vice President of Development for Human Coalition, where she leads a passionate team that nurtures deep relationships with donors, churches and volunteers.

Intentional care and stewardship is the heart of the Development Team that Erin leads. The team ensures Human Coalition’s donors, church partners and volunteers have exceptional interactions and experiences with the organization – which cultivate long-term engagement, meaningful relationships and eternal impact.  Erin’s team also works to align the personal values of donors with Human Coalition’s compelling vision.

Specific areas of focus with donors include gift acceptance and management, gift acknowledgment, donor recognition and donor reporting.  With respect to volunteers, Erin’s team focuses on recruiting and selecting volunteers, and ensures they are trained and equipped to support the organization.  Her team also leads the planning and execution of donor, church, and volunteer events – ranging from large-scale public gatherings to small intimate opportunities with Human Coalition’s leadership.

Before joining Human Coalition, Erin served for nearly ten years as Executive Director of the Pregnancy Resource Center of Charlotte, North Carolina.  Prior to her work with the Pregnancy Resource Center, Erin served as a regional director for Samaritan’s Purse in the Pacific Northwest, where she led programs and volunteers in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Montana and Idaho.

Erin holds a BA in Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Divinity degree in Biblical Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina.  Erin also is a graduate of the Disney® Institute in Leadership Excellence.

Erin relocated from the Tar Heel State to Frisco, Texas in the summer of 2020 with her husband Jay, and their four children: son, Baer (12), and daughters Bren (10), Bexlyn (8), and Balan (6).
