Businesswoman, philanthropist, wife, and mother, Jessica Ann Tyson found a way to take her willingness to help others and marry it with her passion for event planning. In 2003 this socialite founded Events by Jessica Ann and became a successful entrepreneur. Her solid rapport, reputation of excellence, and integrity have built admiration amongst clients and sponsors across the state of Michigan. Most noted, over the past ten years, she has provided more than $110,000.00 in scholarships for high school and college students through her signature events held in Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and Detroit: The Legacy Events.

In 2014 Jessica Ann Tyson expanded her company and morphed the extremely successful 13-year-old event planning business into a Public Relations firm – JA PR Group, LLC. In January 2017, Jessica Ann Tyson took her skill set to the restaurant industry and established, The Candied Yam, LLC – Delightful Southern Cuisine, one of the Top 50 Places to Eat at in Grand Rapids. The Candied Yam is an upscale rustic soul food restaurant featuring family recipes rich with heritage and made with love.

In June 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, she opened Pink Lounge: Dry Salt Therapy. A spa where guests can relax and just breathe using the ancient science of Pink Himalayan Salt through Halotherapy. In November 2022, Jessica Ann took her skill set to the pet industry by opening Beastro: Fresh Canine Cuisine where dogs are allowed and humans are welcomed. Pet owners together with their furry companion are able to purchase healthy, human-grade, speciallycreated meals, BARKcuteries, BARKday PAWty packages and more.
