Lori Szala

National Director of Client Services

Lori Szala serves as the National Director of Client Services at Human Coalition, where she manages seven women’s care clinics across the country.

Having discovered her gift for administration while working at a financial investment firm in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Lori eventually surrendered her financial career to pursue a full-time role as Executive Director at the Pregnancy Resource Center of the South Hills (PRCSH) in Pittsburgh. Here she realized that her own experience of facing an unexpected pregnancy could be used to encourage women to choose life.

Under Lori’s leadership, PRCSH was awarded the Presidential Volunteer Service Award in 2008 and the Small Nonprofit of the Year Award in 2013. In 2014, Lori spearheaded the center’s efforts to join Human Coalition as its second wholly owned and operated women’s care clinic.

Lori coauthored two versions of an abstinence curriculum, one for high schoolers and one for middle schoolers, which she’s shared with not only thousands of youth in the Greater Pittsburgh area, but also tens of thousands of students living in HIV/AIDS–infested regions around the globe.

In 2011, Lori was the recipient of the Great Alumni Award at her alma mater, Mt. Lebanon High School, in honor of her inspirational work with teenagers.

Lori has been married for more than 20 years to Scott, and they have three adult children: Justin, Ashley, and Jeffrey.
