Still Here | Serena's Story

Serena met a man online, and they seemed to hit it off quickly. After their first date, he took her to his apartment and raped her. A few weeks later, she discovered she was pregnant. 

In that instant, she decided, “I need to get rid of this. I can’t do this because this is not planned.” 

Then she heard her baby’s heartbeat. She shared, “It really got me, hearing that there’s something alive inside of me. That was another like, whoa, this is real!” Once she got the baby’s picture printed out, “I ultimately made my decision to keep my child.”
