“Welcome to pre-kindergarten.” Kourtnee and thirty-four other children will hear those words for the first time this fall. But these aren’t your average almost five-year-olds. They are Human Coalition children—some of the first preborn babies who were rescued from abortion during our first year in operation.
Their mothers are from different cities and a variety of backgrounds, but they all share one thing: They faced a crisis pregnancy and felt desperate, alone, and vulnerable. And when they searched the Internet for abortion information, they were able to connect with Human Coalition.
We then were able to connect them to participating life-affirming pregnancy centers, where they were shown love, compassion, and acceptance.
As a result, each of these brave women chose LIFE for their preborn babies. Kourtnee’s mom, Robin, was one of them.
Today, Kourtnee and the other pre-kindergartners she represents are preparing to go to school. Some may go on to become teachers, engineers, missionaries, doctors, inventors, and maybe even president! We don’t know what’s in store for these budding lives, but we do know this: If it weren’t for Human Coalition reaching their moms in their deepest time of need and the care and compassion of the participating pregnancy resource centers, it’s likely these children wouldn’t be with us today. While that’s definitely good news, the even better news is that since 2011, Human Coalition has become increasingly more strategic at reaching abortion-determined women. We’re advertising not only online, but also offline. We’ve established our own in-house call center where professionally trained agents answer calls. And we now own and operate two women’s care clinics (in Grapevine, Texas, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) where we can carefully and compassionately engage with abortion-determined women, and can make any necessary adjustments and optimize our process to help save even more lives.
