For years, abortion pill vendors have exploited loopholes by shipping abortion pills through the mail across state and national borders. Thousands of these pills enter Texas each year, often without medical oversight. These chemical abortions end the lives of Texas children. They also put mothers at serious risk of complications, sometimes requiring emergency care, according to the Ethics and Public Policy Center.

It empowers private citizens to take legal action against individuals or organizations who traffic abortion pills into Texas, even if they are located in other states or overseas.
