Mike Tobias

Chief Innovation Officer

Mike Tobias serves as Chief Innovation Officer of Human Coalition, where he leads strategy, technology, and innovation across the organization. He oversees the integration of data, AI, and operational systems to strengthen mission execution, improve client outcomes, and scale impact.

With more than three decades in technology and business, Mike began as a software developer at Tech Source and rose to President, CEO, and Chairman, leading a company whose high-resolution graphics systems served air traffic control worldwide before its acquisition by EIZO. He went on to cofound SandStream Communications, raising more than $65 million to build some of the first IPTV infrastructure and coauthoring a patent for streaming television awarded 20 years before YouTube TV launched. In 2010 he founded CGO Partners, a consulting firm through which he coaches CEOs through growth, operational transformation, and acquisitions.

Mike’s connection to Human Coalition goes back to its founding days, when he served as an original board member. He joined the staff full time in 2021 to bring his technology and operating experience to the mission of rescuing children from abortion throughout America. He is passionate about discipling leaders and building high performing teams, and his work sits at the intersection of leadership, technology, and human formation, building systems that serve people rather than performance metrics alone.

Mike is the author of Built for the Fight and The Alignment Project. He speaks to professional audiences on the intersection of work, faith, and personal formation. He holds degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from Western Michigan University.

He and his wife, Lisa, live in the Dallas suburbs and have six children and eight grandchildren.
