Human Coalition has spearheaded a new coalition letter from Christian leaders across denominations calling the Church to speak clearly and compassionately on the issue of abortion.
The letter is addressed to pastors and faith leaders and centers on the Church’s responsibility to proclaim the full counsel of God, including the sacred value of human life in the womb and the hope of forgiveness and healing found in Jesus Christ.
Grounded in Scripture, the letter affirms that every unborn child is created in the image of God and that the Church is called to protect the vulnerable. It also acknowledges the reality that abortion often goes unaddressed in churches for many reasons, including fear, personal pain, and the belief that the issue does not affect one’s congregation.
